Christmas in July Blog Hop Day 3

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, had a very lovely blog hop!

You just joined our Christmas in July Blog Hop Day 3! Just like yesterday and the day before, you should have arrived from Jen's page.  If you just happened to be visiting me and stumbled upon the hop, please be sure to go back to Elaine's blog so you don't miss out!

I want to thank everyone that came and visited during this hop for all the wonderful comments and new followers.  I'm very grateful for my new friends!  I also had an overwhelming response to my Christmas goodie folder I posted yesterday, so I will come up with a tutorial soon.  I really am a super spaz in real life, so just warning you before you watch my video! LOL! (Makes me entertaining, though, right?!).

Anywho, 3rd project time!

I used Best Images of 2006 for this ornament, so I'm not really sure what cartridge this originally came from (wish Provocraft would've incorporated that in their "Best of" cartridges...).  It was being a pain in the butt with not cutting properly and I wasted an entire sheet of designer paper because it just kept tearing.  I finally changed my mat and got one good cut out of it.  Everything is SU! on this one except for the stamp and embossing powder.

Ready for EVEN MORE blog candy? To win this you need to follow my blog and leave a comment on this post.  I will be choosing a winner on Monday July 25.  I'm giving away a total of 3 blog candies.  This is your 3rd chance to win blog candy on my blog!  If you'd like to win the first and second set of blog candy, leave a comment on my previous posts as well.  You can enter a total of 3 times, one for each day.

Be sure to visit & follow all the blogs to be entered for the Grand Prize: After you have stopped at all the blogs, be sure to go back to the beginning (Elaine's blog)  and leave your name in the inlinkz with Mr. Blue frogger!

Who's next? :)

Pretty card with non-traditional xmas colors; very nice. It's been great being in the hop with you; I thought it was a terrific hop that Elaine hosted. (no need to include me in your drawing for your blog candy)--Pat N.

Like your ornament card. It was time for me to change to a new mat or so I thought. Well the new mat had the paper sticking to it all to well so I switched back to the old mat after cleaning it up with a wipe. I also use tape to hold my paper pieces in place on the mat if they are small pieces and have learned to adjust my settings over & over and have wasted many a big piece of paper to paper tear.

Oh wow, Cely, this is so GORGEOUS! I love the paper and your beautiful design! I have so many problems with the mats, too. I bought a new set a couple of days ago and I only used one of them maybe three times and paper refused to stick. I wasted tons of paper too. Now I just tape down everything. It is a huge pain, but at least I am saving my good paper :P It was so much fun being in the hop with you :D

This is beautiful! I love it!! Sorry you wasted a whole sheet of paper.... Did you check your blade/speed settings? I find that you really have to change it when cutting thinner/DP.

Awesome job!!
